Day of the Dead Wedding Cake Toppers

Photobucket
Some might think it is odd to put two skeletons on top of a wedding cake, but the sentiment behind the Day of the Dead holiday really makes this style of cake topper quite appropriate for a wedding celebration! Day of the Dead, (Dia de los Muertos), is a traditional holiday in Mexico which celebrates the complete cycle of life and death. With a skeleton bride and groom, (or bride and bride, or groom and groom, of course!,) cake topper, the couple is making the statement that love is eternal and their love will continue throughout their lives and beyond. Although not for everyone, my skeleton Day of the Dead themed cake toppers are custom made with a lot of love and respect and with my best wishes for a long, healthy love and marriage in this life and ever after. Here are some samples of my cake toppers, which can include, of course, family pets!
