The figures and other elements are made with polymer clay and painted with acrylics. Their is a battery powered tea light that is inserted through the bottom of the base into the "fire" to make it flicker and glow!

Day of the Dead Diorama ~ The Dancing Ghosts
This Day of the Dead diorama features George and Irma, who were married for 65 years! No longer amongst the living, their ghostly skeleton figures can still be seen from time to time dancing in the old parlor in front of a cozy fire. Also appearing are their skeleton cat Sheba and skeleton dog Penny. Above the fireplace mantle are some old photos of George and Irma in their younger days: a wedding photo, a trip to Tijuana, and a shot of them speeding away on George's motorcycle.
