The Psychoanalyst

Sometimes overcoming a traumatic event, (like your own death), requires a visit or two to a qualified mental health professional.  Fortunately, as you can see here, the famous psychoanalyst, Dr, Sigmund Freud,   is still helping patients on the other side.  Hypnotherapy, lots of reading material about death,  a big box of kleenex and sometimes a good stiff drink are all helpful tools in getting the recently deceased to accept and even embrace their new "situation".
The figures are sculpted from polymer clay and painted with acrylics, the furniture is made from clay and wood and the "books" are clay with paper covers.
Oh, and if you want to try self hypnosis, your can actually spin the hypnotic spiral!
The wooden base measures 5" x  7 1/2" and the piece is 5" tall.

  1. Tamra, how do you do it? I LOVE this tableaux! the "Sigmund Freud" guy is wonderful with his cigar and beard! The "patient" is a scream, with his tissue and liquor bottle. Love the little details, like the hypnotism spiral thingy and the book on Death!

You are just the queen of DOD!!
